Every time I see straight trains and tracks, I have an indescribable feeling... Can you be real? The real rails are not straight, but concave.
I feel like that's a small gripe compared to more glaring issues that DTG doesn't seem prepared to address. Before that, I would argue there needs to be a greater focus on sound, lighting, and a move to have announcements and more accurate PIS. Those are bigger things that more players will notice and appreciate.
Concave... such an odd word to use. Bendy, curved, "not straight" would probably be a better way of saying it. And some railways ARE straight for fairly long sections. The line between Gravesend and Hoo Junction is straight for a few miles because it follows the line of the old canal, which was also dug in a straight line. Lots of the original Great Western mainline is deliberately straight or very shallow curves. The architect designed it that way to maximise speed and reduce the need to slow down for such things as turning
Maybe OP meant the rails themselves should be visually more bumpy instead of flat. The game only has cab sway now. I was confused by the wording too at first, but that can be translating issues.
seems to me that expecting to have mis formed rails seems to be a bit over the top and that would get more cab sway and more people getting motion sick from playing Blasting down bad track Doubleheader on the ND&W Railway (Maumee and Western) - Bing video
