anyone else like this effect at times? Checkout the teaser pics for the countdown in dlc release, image is photoshopped with a DOF filter and it gives a nice view (obviously not always ideal but some people like it)
On another note it could help with the poor distant scenery since it’ll be slightly blurred it doesn’t look so horrible
Hehe, yes, I like Deph of Field but of course add the usual disclaimer ... "depending on the game" ;-) Seriously I hated blur-effects before playing TSW, often thought it effects my framerate in some games, but then someone pointed out in an ini-tweak thread here, that blur adds to the "feeling of speed" and he is right! IMHO all my screenshots look so much better and it feels "faster" while driving. Why am I writing all this? To flesh out my "it depends" ...
Maybe try ReShade? You can apply so many different filters to any game you want. But don't ask me for technical support, look into the RTX thread, there it was linked/mentioned.
