Can we have Wolverhampton to Shrewsbury with a class 170 London Midland the line runs for 32 miles or 51 kilometers and would bring the first class 170 to TSW2
Is there anything particularly unique about this line? Why would it be a good addition to TSW versus other possible routes?
It would introduce trains and operators that are not yet in the game such as Arriva Trains Wales and London Midland it would also be the first route in the West Midlands
Compared to other West Midlands routes or (say) part of the Marches Line, this is not really the best candidate.
As someone from Shrewsbury, I support the idea just to have my home town in TSW2 My personal preference for Shrewsbury in the game would be Severn Valley Railway during GWR era though.
Other (and more interesting) routes would also do that in my opinion. If DTG are going to develop a route they need it to be unique in some way with multiple well known landmarks or some sort of historic value. Wolverhampton to Shrewsbury doesn't sound very exciting unfortunately.
Indeed something like Coventry to Wolverhampton, maybe including the bypass route via Bescot for freight traffic would be outstanding, regardless of era. Possibly drop Walsall in too.
