    You can't.

Safety systems are activated by default with no way to turn them off.

    It was a licensing requirement.

According to information, this is not possible, you are forced to use the security systems/I think that's because DTG and MTA have made a certain agreement, but I'm not so sure.

    Hi anthoninmoumsamy ,

Safety Systems are on by default at the request of the licensor and may not be disabled. You will find this information in the product description and it was heavily communicated in the pre-release articles and stream. However, we will highly recommend that you stick with it, as it's not too difficult once you get used to it. To help onboard players, we have a few useful learning resources you can use.

God it removed like, 90% of the fun by forcing ACS. If I wanted to drive with ACS I'd go get the job, the fun for me is doing it manually. What are the lawyers so afraid of? The game doesn't even let you crash or anything. I'm honestly thinking about returning the DLC because it's just not even fun.

To be clear it's not that I can't use the safety systems, it's just that it takes the fun out of it for me. It's not about driving the train anymore, it feels tedious and annoying now. Hey to some maybe they like that, I don't. I've spent well over $1,000 (and probably a magnitude more) on TSWs and class TS over 10 years ago to just relax and drive trains around. Hell I have a RailDriver I'm that committed to the genre. However, if this is mandated on future DLCs though, it's an immediate "no-buy" for me going forward. Tell the lawyers to pound sand, if my train is going 5mph over the red bar is enough for me to know to hit the brakes. It's a game.

DTG got permission from the LIRR on the basis the safety systems were permanently on. It was part of the licensing agreement.

DTG have to adhere to whatever the train company mandates.

It was announced everywhere weeks before the release that permanently activated safety systems are part of the license agreement.

Nevertheless, DTG has to adhere to the rules of the train companies, those who want licenses have to comply or get nothing,
because licenses are anything but just a game.

And I'm just the reverse; to me driving without safety systems is no challenge. It's like using a cheat code.
