Testing the Class 700 in the training center and perhaps on other german routes with custom scenarios or godmode, the speed unit is in mph, and I didn't really find a way to change it to km/h. Is that even possible?
    Thanks in advance.

That's only so it can use tvm430 on hs1.

As far as I know, the high-speed line between London and Dover uses km/h so that's why the train needs an option to display different units on the speedometer.

Because it is on ‘international’ rails. Whilst the 395 isn’t going international, the Eurostar is so all trains use the same units

And why does the 395 uses kph on the HSL1 is because the TVM430 was coded for kph it’ll cost too much money and time to add a mph option.

It would make the game so much easier to play if there was an all-units-are-metric version.

It's a video game, it's digital, everything should be possible :D

But it would break realism. You can have the HUD whatever you like. If you want to change what the actual cab display says you might as well stick a jet engine on the back with afterburners.

Class 700 specific, even though it has ETCS L2 with ATO, uses mph unlike the ETCS lines in Wales that use km/h. As such the DMI only ever shows km/h, and even then we can't turn ETCS on in-game.
