just wondering about this, i tried to do this before with HST power cars but for some reason the consist just wouldnt move.
has anybody try this before of using 43 HST (from both GWE and EMT) top and tailing a rake of MK3A from the overshap route?

It’s very hard to get this to work in real life so it’s unlikely to work in game, the Mk3a coaches don’t have 36 way jumpers therefore there is no communication to the trailing power car, HST had extra pins to the normal 27 ways in order to facilitate brake control from the leading power car without having to isolate the E70 controller in the rear every time you swapped ends. To get this to work you’d need to be able to access the E70 isolation valve other wise the rear car will always attempt to apply the brakes with no power going to the brake control unit. I think the game will see the 3a’s as trailers and probably won’t allow push pull operation, although it would be nice to have intercity liveried HSTs.
