I know that dodgy physics is not unique to this particular line, but I am finding the train physics rather awkward on this particular route, namely that the brakes sometimes do not operate at all, and trains travelling along totally flat sections of track under no power accelerate fairly rapidly on their own- a bit ridiculous, as it means constantly having to brake, release, brake again just to stop a speeding penalty. Can someone explain why the train physics are set up this way, and is there a workaround to make the train perform as a real train would?
