We all know that the dirt trains in Cane Creek are not very realistic. There are reasons for that. What I really do not understand how this unloader works. There must be a magic black hole under it that absorbs all the dirt. Can we please have equipment here that, though not realistic is at least believable if you do not know it is not realistic?
Yes, there's something similar in PCR with a gravel train which is not entirely convincing either. You have to use your imagination in simulation sometimes. I mean you don't actually see the ethanol in Oakville, but you can imagine it, even hear it, going in to the tankers.
You've reminded me of perhaps the most ridiculous loading/unloading animations I've ever seen. I'm referring to the various container cranes found in a variety of TS routes. If you've never watched containers appearing and vanishing as if by magic or being lifted up out of nowhere like the proverbial rabbit from a magician's hat, but without the hat, you're missing an hilarious experience. Although I would very much like to see container cranes operating in TSW, I also cringe at the possibilities. On the other hand, Crosstie's comments about the need for imagination as well as the much ballyhooed "immersion" is precisely correct.
