I would like some help with train sim classic, for some reason I can not look around the drivers cab when panning with my mouse, I did previously install headtracking which could be the issue, but I unplugged the webcam I used for it, uninstalled both apps I was using for it, clearing cache in game, reinstalling the game, with nothing working, if anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated, I also confirmed I had mouse and keyboard enabled for camera views, which shouldn't be the issue since I can freely look around in exterior cab views
You could not get the mouse to pan so you reinstalled the Entire Game or just the DLC? And how are you trying to pan with the mouse?
cookiedacake#5309 Sorry, I can't replicate your problem. Is the problem in all cabs or just some? If some, please name the cab giving the problem.
Have you been using "opentrack" ? There has been issues as mentioned on the Steam forums about problems with using the right mouse button to pan around the cab if you have "opentrack" installed, even if you are not running the headtracking software. If it is "opentrack" please come back to me I may be able to help. Keith
So many posts on Facebook start off with "I could not get this DLC to work so I reinstalled the game" I was asking if the entire game was reinstalled and why. But to keep you happy I will amend my post
I I couldn't get it to work on multiple dlcs. also I was attempting to pan around by holding left click and dragging my mouse on the mousepad.
I actually did try opentrack for a different game I played the day before. I then tried to play TSC but couldn't get it to work and found some info that it is a headtracking issue, so I uninstalled opentrack as well as aitrack. maybe I failed to properly uninstall them or didnt get rid of all the files. but yes I did indeed use opentrack
Sorry, I haven't got those, so I can't test on my setup. Do you have the same problem on non JT products?
I had this issue a few years ago using a tracking device I bought on Steam. Was a bit irritating, I vaguely remember uninstalling the software didn't completely remove all files, I had to manually find the tracker folders and files and delete them I think? Or maybe there was a file I needed to remove in the Railworks folder that was installed by the tracker? Sorry I can't be more helpful, I needed to do a bit of Google searching to figure it out.
I have had the very same issue. Some games I use opentrack, some I dont and Trainsim is one of them. Its a messy work around but I had to rename a couple of files in the opentrack modules file. I am guessing these files have been left behind when you un-installed opentrack. In my case I went into the opentrack modules folder which for me is C:\Program Files (x86)\opentrack\modules . Inside the modules folder are two dll files , NPClient.dll and NPClient64.dll . As I use headtracking for some games I rename these two files. In your case if you are not going to use opentrack ever again, you should be ok just deleting them. Hoping this helps. Keith
