The system for acknowledging SIFA alerts with PS5 controller has taken a step back on DB BR 114, DB BR 193 Vectron and the dosto cab car, which came with the Frankfurt-Fulda route. On previous German trains (and luckily the ICE-T) you could press the SIFA pedal once in a while with the circle button and avoid the alert in the cab. However on these "new" locomotives you can only acknowledge it while the light is showing or the alarm is sounding. This is especially annoying with the Vectron, where it goes straight to alarm every 30 seconds. Also on the DB 114 the circle button acknowledges PZB every time you press it, even when there's no magnet in sight.

They did the same with the DVD in the Class 390 Pendolino too. You have to wait for it to sound. I don’t know enough about how it works in reality on different trains but I’ve never seen that in a UK train before (in TSW).

It's also a thing on the Class 87, where it only acknowledges the AWS and not the DVD.

This is absolutely frustrating. I already opened a ticket in the past, because there was the same issue with the Press 155 and the Railpool Vectron. So Devs knew it (they should test every DLC on any platform before release anyway). And still they gave us broken locos and obviously the same broken Vectron we already had. A missing quality control in combination with a bad update management leads to locos being unplayable forever.
