PS4 Cant Import Or Create A Profile In Tsw5

This also applies to PS5 version as well. seems like the profiles are covering up the option to create a new profile this effects both PS versions but not PC. Sounds like someone has been messing round with the UI. I needed to switch to and old profile I needed to import but cannot now but it looks like the saves are put on top of the option to add a new profile

 

I tested and it affects Xbox Series version as well

I have a few issues my TSW5 game on my PC at the moment.

I've just noticed that 'Create New Profile' has disappeared, so I can't create another profile, here is the problem:
Also, the filter for the Creators Club does not work either, so I don't get to filter my disired results:
I don't know what exact cause of this issue, but am I the only one that has the issue, or is it the same with everyone, but any help would be great. I don't want to have to re-install Steam which I'm currently fearing about just now.

 

I am having the same problem. The option to import a profile has disappeared.

 

I submitted a ticket and got the following reply: “We are aware that this menu was unintentionally broken by a prior update. The buttons for Create, Import and Current profile are all stacked on top of each other, making the menu unusable. Rest assured, we are prioritizing a fix and hope to have something with players soon.”

In the meanwhile, I found a workaround for (at least) PS5. If you have a keyboard attached to the console, you can use the tab-key to switch between the different buttons. By doing so, I managed to import my TSW4 profile into TSW5.

 

What about on other systems that TSW5 support as long as one can connect a keyboard (ex PS4)?

I assume that the solution would work. You just have to try it.

 

Before I try that, I will tell you one thing that I noticed on my PS4.

At the profile page, if I press X on my controller it ask to selected a character and then ask for to type in a name. So currently on the PS4 you can only create and delete profiles.

I do not have the PS5 so I can not tell you what happens if one presses the X button on the controller.

So you are saying that on the PS5 when you use the PS5 version it does not work? If you do not know yet..

OP: Even through I do not have a PS5, others who do will find the info useful to know.
