With the Holiday Express DLC came the addition of a toy Jeep to drive around the room in.

I would love to see the same applied to the Training Center, with a (non toy) car to get around. Since you may want to try different trains and both walking and shunting aren't exactly quick ways to get somewhere, this would be a great way to make getting around the Training Center faster and easier.

Would also be useful for the large marshalling yards like Cumberland or Bartsow

I agree. Like I for one would love a simple pickup to drive back to rear/banking locos and then drive back up. Release automatic brakes then by time you've driven to the rear and back up front should be close to fully released.

Excellent idea and this might be also useful on German routes that feature a Classification Yard these are the missing Hagen Vorhalle Dresden Friedrichstadt and Bremen Gropelingen.

Agreed! Or even just golf carts in large areas , but im sure they dont want to stray too far from trains lol

Or better yet: there are some track inspection cars that can both operate as a car on rubber tires and a track inspection/maintenance vehicle on deployable steel rollers. Perhaps a simple pickup along that concept could work nicely.
