I’m also on Xbox. The owned games tab and store is showing the updated version and it let me download it. However upon playing it’s the old version. Not sure how that one works, they might have it time locked.
I think they just updated the pictures and the description of the store page, but I never actually downloaded an update to cathcart itself.
Be patient and wait for the update to come. It’s not something you can buy, especially if you already own Cathcart.
You can buy it though as the option to checkout is there and the 2.1gb will download it just won’t activate in the game yet.
It is “”released”” if you own the current cathcart the option to “buy it” for free is there so you can check out and it WILL download to your console. Same if you don’t own the origional you can buy the upgraded one for 24,99 and it will download as well. It is just not available in the sim yet. its behaving like a pre order/pre download just time locked currently to not be available in sim. This is on both Xbox and ps
