Add the central line service from Epping - North Acton (where the line splits) or to Ealing Broadway.
Well not the first time the Central Line has been suggested. First things first, the current ATO operation would be mind numbingly boring. Close doors, push button, rinse and repeat. So to be of interest really needs to be set back prior to that era in which case you might as well include Epping to Ongar when it was still operated by LT. Then the other fly in the ointment. DTG have apparently claimed doing the Bakerloo Line created a huge workload and costs with the light baking etc. required for all the sub surface stations, it wasn’t economically viable. The fact to this day we have very few routes coming out with underground stations seems to indicate that is still an issue. So they are not going to undertake a project for which they either don’t have the skilled 3D artists to work with UE or liable to bankrupt the company.
Totally agree. I think a modern version would be mind-numbingly dull with ATO. A sub-surface tube line in wider tunnels where you can see passing trains would be far more interesting than another tube line with lonely single bore tunnels. That's if DTG ever attempted an Underground line again of course. I wouldn't blame them if they didn't.
