    Hi all,
I've recently just started playing TSC again after a few years and I'm trying to remember how to change the auto junctions in a quick drive scenario. For example, I'm running between London and Birmingham and don't want to stop at Rugby instead of it automatically directing me into the platform. If anyone knows please let me know, thanks.

Im pretty sure once the scenario has started if you put the 2d map on and scroll out a little you can follow the line you want to take then when you get to the points you want to change just click on them then the new path becomes blue.

In Quick Drive your path is set for you and you don't normally have any means of altering it. If you want to take any route you choose you need a Freeroam scenario. You can change your path using the 2D map or key presses to change the points/turnouts/switches.

If you want a particular path in QD, the only thing you can do is build a new one yourself. It’s a limitation of that type of scenario.

Yes, Freeroam is the type of scenario you'll want to play. QuickDrive is dispatched, in Freeroam you set your own path and all switches are manual.

It's a bit more difficult, but ultimately, when starting a QD it generates a standard scenario and those don't allow changing points.
By the way, nor do free roams. If a path is set for you or something else, it is set and you can accept it.
However, some switches aren't set by the dispatcher, I'm sure there is an explanation. I'm not sure it's as simple as automatic vs manual, but it could be that some manual looking switches are configured automatic and vice versa.
For example, Ohio Steel 2 doesn't set one point at Dover (in the middle) properly, furthermore it locks you in a different path. So even though you could proceed straight by setting the northern point, that's locked and thus you must reverse.
There are many examples on routes like Sherman Hill which are probably manual switches when entering the yard. Many of them would be set automatically, at least when I create my own scenario.

    The solution, however annoying.
After generating and starting the QD, press Escape and go to World Editor. Switch to scenario editing mode, open the timetable (3rd row 1st button iirc) and simply add or remove objectives. While at it, you can fine tune your consist, such as add load. Once done, press D, save and play.

Okay interesting, because I do remember when I played TS last, I remember being able to change points like I was able to do a full run from London Euston to Birmingham New Street via the slow lines with a crossover onto the fast line after Wolverton, I just can't remember how I did it.
