I’d like to see the Bruxells-Midi to London St.Pancras in the game, here are my reasons why i think it’s a good route: 1. End-to-End route •The full route covers around 230 miles (370 km), including the Euro Tunnel. •En-route stations include Bruxells-Midi, Lille Europe, Calais-Fréthun, Calais Terminal, Folkstone Terminal, Ashford International, Ebbsfleet International, Stratford International and St.Pancras International 2.Channel Tunnel •The Channel Tunnel would be a big and unique selling point with safety systems like TVM-430 and KVB. 3. Core Trains •The Eurostar Class 374 (e320) and the older Class 373 (e300) can be included as core trains •They can run at their top speeds of 186 mph (300 km/h) 4. Layers •SEHS could layer the 395 Javelin from Ashford Intl to St. Pancras and Eurostar trains can layer into SEHS •The ice3 like in SEHS could also be a playable layer or seen as ai in october as a nod to the test run it drove on this route in 2010 •The TGV duplex could layer in along the french stations of the route or throughout the route for test runs as well. 5. Scenery and poi’s •You’d drive along the Countryside and very interesting stations. You’d see the Iconic Eurotunnel entrance (which i actually got to take a picture of from within the train) and the Eurotunnel interior and sidings for various trains like the Javelin or others. 6. Loco Add-On Suggestions •Eurotunnel Class 9 Le Shuttle trains with service between Folkstone Terminal to Calais Terminal carrying HGV wagons for heavy vehicles and Passenger Shuttle Wagons for cars and •Class 92 Freight Locomotive which would bring a new freight loco for the UK for cargo operations through the Channel Tunnel. It can also be used for Caledonian Sleeper services on WCMLs for example, and or as an ai layer in January at ripple lane on the GOBLIN Line to reference the China to The UK train. •Class 21 for rescue operations throughout the Channel Tunnel or freight shunting along sidings. I took this route a few years ago and i think a lot of people want the Eurotunnel route it could even be a core route for a main TSW I know it’s a long route but possible in the future probably what do y’all think any feedback or stuff to add?
Too long. Also, the section from Ashford to St Pancras has already been made and won't be again. No Eurostar license (they're not willing to give one afaik) either.
This is just a route Suggestion definitely no issue with that, otherwise do you have any amendments or stuff to add?
Jack was pointing out not to get your hopes up and it’s best to be realistic when making suggestions. If in doubt refer to the DTG LAMPOIL system for evaluating potential projects.
I checked and it didn’t seem too far out there for me to suggest it, and don’t worry i’m not getting my hopes too far up it’s just a suggestion. But if you have something to add or change let me kno
