Hello all. Today I’m suggesting the Chatham mainline and the Medway valley line for Train sim world 2. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chatham_Main_Line + https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medway_Valley_line The route would feature the line from London Victoria to Gillingham, the line from Strood to Tonbridge and the line from Victoria to Orpington. This is the track layout of the line in TS2022: https://store.steampowered.com/app/...hatham_Main__Medway_Valley_Lines_Route_AddOn/ The included rolling stock would be the: Class 465/0 + 465/1 (not my photo) extra info: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Rail_Class_465 And the class 375/3 and /6 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Rail_Class_375 (Not my photos) The layers: There wouldn’t be that many. Driveable ones would probably be just class 66 freight. The class 375/9 from SEHS would sub in on mainline services. Thanks for reading all (I’m sure moleman would like this a lot)
Having both routes appear at once would be unlikely (they were made separately then combined into one route in TS). But if route merging/portals become a feature in the future, then I would welcome this route (Chatham Main Line specifically). It also might not provide enough fresh gameplay as the trains would be largely the same as what we already have on SEHS/BML/ECW.
I'd really quite enjoy seeing the Chatham Mainline in game at some point, especially if merging comes to reality. However, I don't think it should be now, not off the back of both SEHS and BML, more Electrostars aren't the best for the time being. However it would be good in the long term!
Excellent idea and if made why not make BREL Class 465/0 465/1 standard with SEHS giving 375 & 465/9 Metro Camell layers for the route. In return TS22 Medway and Chattam remade for TSW2 lines give BREL Class 465 layers to SEHS. Retro locomotive DLC Class 71.
Perhaps also the Class 70 electric locomotive trio and the Class 74 electro diesel conversions with all three vintage classes usable on London Commuter, SEHS and East Coastway which were the usual area of operations.
I agree but getting a class 74 electro diesel sound is hard because there might not be a surviving locomotive that has the same engine as it.
