I was driving a BR blue newspaper train, doubleheaded by class 73s, out of London Victoria on the Chatham main line. It was a red, four bar scenario.

Discussion on the Class 73 thread led me to get the MKS Class 460 which comes with another 73, and I intended to swap out the default DTG ones, but now that original scenario seems to have disappeared completely from my TS.

I’ve done numerous file integrity checks, cleared the cache and restarted numerous times, and days later, there is still no sign of it.

Can those with the Chatham Mainline please have a look in your Career Scenarios and see if this is listed (sorry, I don’t remember the name of it)?

I know sometimes a new train DLC loaded will take over scenarios from previous ones, but there’s no sign of any such train scenario anywhere now.

Shame, as it was a scenario that kept you on your toes....

Any advice gratefully appreciated as always.

I’ve reextracted the BRB scenario AP file, see the folder with the name you gave listed in the BRB scenario sub folder, it has contents, but still doesn’t appear in my scenario list.

I have cleared the cache, restarted, no joy.

What can I do? Should I untick the BRB pack DLC in Steam and retick it?

ETA: did untick, retick, Steam redownloaded the files, still no sign of that scenario.

You could try using TS Tools and see if it shows up in the list there. If it does maybe convert it to a standard scenario?

    Why would it disappear though?

I’ve reversed the only other changes: unticked the MKS460 and removed fast load, but still no joy.

    I’ll try TS Tools later.

Thanks for helping and pointing me in the right direction.

I have a duplicate installation on my laptop, and the crazy thing is that the scenario shows there:

I thought to look under the Build menu in TS, and low and behold Paper Run is listed. So I cloned it, and now the clone appears finally in Career Scenarios.

No idea what the problem is, but at least I can run it again.

And I managed to swap out the DTG 73s with the MKS ones.

Better check with Peter, though, are these the correct 73s? :)

Yes - apart from the Red Blinds on the front it looks very good :)
I think you will enjoy driving these locos - even with a Headlight on the front
