The Metra BNSF Line, also known as the BNSF Racetrack due to its high speeds (up to 70MPH for passenger trains) and triple mainline, is a route that is needed in TSW4. The 37.5 mile route runs from Chicago's Union Station westbound to Aurora. The busy line sees Metra Commuter Trains, BNSF freights, and Amtrak passenger services, including the Southwest Chief, California Zephyr, Illinois Zephyr, and Carl Sandburg. The line was originally built by the Chicago, Burlington, and Quincy RR and was later owned by the Burlington Northern and now, BNSF.

    -Possible Locomotives:
-BNSF C44-9W (a BNSF loco needed in game)
    -BNSF ET44C4
    -BNSF GP39-3 (rebuilt ex-BN GP30 and/or GP35 units designated GP39E, GP39M, and GP39V)
    -BNSF GP50/GP25 Rebuild
    -BNSF GP38-2

-Siemens SC-44 Charger (for Amtrak Midwest services)
-ALC-42 Charger (for Amtrak long-distance trains; both Charger versions are needed in game)
-Amtrak P42DC Genesis (needed in game)
-BNSF locos from Cajon Pass could be layered on this route, too; also the locos from this route could be used on Cajon.
-The Amtrak P42DC and ALC-42 could also be layered onto other routes (Cajon, HSC, SPG, etc.).
-Some of these locos could be DLCs.

    -Possible Passenger Rolling Stock:
    -Gallery Bi-level Commuter Coaches
-Siemens Venture Cars and Horizon Cars (for Midwest services)
    -Amtrak Superliners and Baggage Car

    -Possible Freight Rolling Stock:
    -Coal gondolas (loaded and empty)
    -30K Gallon Tank Cars
-Auto Racks (maybe articulated or new Gunderson Multimax)
-Intermodal Well Cars (with 2 containers, single containers, or empty)
    -Grain Hoppers
    -Cement Hoppers
    -Steel Coil Cars

    -CB&Q Loco DLCs (1960s-70s):
-E8A or E9A for commuter trains
    -GP30
    -GP35
    -SD9 "Cadillac"
    -GP20
    -SD40(-2)
    -SD45

    -BN Loco DLCs (1970s-early 1990s):

DTG have US freight on hiatus (the large railroads are refusing access for research) and I believe it has previously been mentioned Metra will not give them a licence.

There was Metra licensing problems already in TS, but they released it unbranded and a texture patch was available.

You do understand almost every Major American Railroad runs there as well Not just BNSF as you stated. CP and NS a little CSX as well as UP have Rail Yards in Chicago area as well as Metro and smaller time off brands. I understand your quick to post all these Locomotives as I see all the time which is Nice you're thinking like that but understand the Route first as to what would really run their and what Time period as if you say now a days 2024 94% of your locomotives Don't even run on your list. Just saying, think of the Route line first then research what ran there as DTG builds off that, because in the long run do you really want a New route with Reskinned Locomotives you already own! just saying.

Anyone can post Locomotive roaster of locomotives but not everything can run on certain lines, like example you never heard of the Big Boy running into Chicago!!!?!!! why? Reasons there are, understand the Route First, break it down see what is right for what you're thinking about Power wise, then post a small percentage of New not seen or released locomotives into TSW. Coming out and just saying a Route with No knowledge of what actually ran there and why is pointless and onloading a Massive List of Locomotives that you think should be there doesn't look good as most people will skip reading it.
