About The Chiltern Main Line is a railway line that links London (Marylebone) and Birmingham (Moor Street and Snow Hill), the United Kingdom's two largest cities, by a 112-mile (180 km) route via High Wycombe, Bicester, Banbury, Leamington Spa and Solihull. It is currently one of two main line railway routes between London and Birmingham; the other is the West Coast Main Line between London Euston and Birmingham New Street, which is the principal InterCity route between the two cities. A third main line, High Speed 2, is currently under construction. Would be fantastic, but as much as we're likely to get would be half the route splitting at somewhere like Banbury. Chiltern Railways license is also questionable, as branded content using this TOC had to be removed from sale on TSC due to it being owned by Arriva (who have also revoked permission for Cross Country and Arriva Trains Wales branding in the past). A good alternative could be having the North Warwickshire Line from Birmingham Snow Hill to Stratford-upon-Avon, with part of the Chiltern Main Line towards Leamington Spa, focusing on the West Midlands Trains local services with the Class 172.
I would prefer the metropolitan line however it is a good suggestion. I would like the route to Aylesbury or Oxford if they were planning on release a Chilterns route. I definitely like the idea of having a London route but I prefer the routes that stop at multiple places rather than the fast or direct service. That is why I like the idea of the Metropolitan line as it offers great variation
