I would like to raise the Chiltern mainline for discussion. There are two services that use this, West Midlands Trains and Chiltern Railways. I think this will open up the avenue for future routes down the line. I propose the stretch of Worcester Shrub Hill to Birmingham Snow Hill from where it then branches to either Stratford Upon-Avon or Leamington Spa. The class 172 is regularly used my WMT, and has a diesel engine to which sounds like it shifts gears when moving and I feel a distinct sound not in train sim world yet. As for Chiltern, as I say this route would open the possibilities of future routes towards and including London Marylebone. Developers - I live close to this railway so anyone that wants to seriously take this on let me know, happy to help provide any details. Also to add, chiltern has a depot / siding in Stourbridge and they operate their new class 68’s from there too, as well as class 139 - people mover to and from Stourbridge town.
