    I like how it states "That speed doesn’t just make it the fastest train in the world, it makes it the fastest land vehicle period."
    Obviously the writer has never heard of Thrust SSC!

    Eh... I prefer normal conventional trains. That just.....doesn't look like a train. I want the sounds, the looks and the feel.

    Feels a bit like they're just trying to shout loud enough in all directions in the hope no one notices that the Japanese SC Maglev project for the Chuo Shinkansen between Tokyo and Nagoya already reached 603kph / 375mph back in 2015. 'Capable of' vs 'Operating' speeds are quite different, so we'll have to see what the latter is for the Chinese line vs the 500kph targeted by the Chuo Shinkansen.
