PC Chopper And Change - Still Broken

Just tried this scenario with the Class 20 on TVL (Journey Mode) and the issues previously reported are still present. After dropping off the wagons at the repair shop and returning to the spur, the first GPL signal as at danger. If you try and Tab past the message is "Denied, train in section ahead", when the line is actually clear.

Have searched earlier reports and it appears one solution was to push the detached wagons through the closed (!) doors of the repair shed and leave further back. I tried returning to the wagons re-attaching and doing this, but still could not get past the GPL, presumably because that part of the script only activates the first time you uncouple.

This needs to be looked at or is it another in a long line of bugged scenarios that will never get fixed?

 

Just tried re-running this from scratch, pushing the wagons through the closed doors of the repair shed and stopping with the loco spot on the mark. Uncouple and draw forward, the GPL is still at danger with the message about train in section ahead...

Hello... DTG, anyone listening or is this another fire and forget broken scenario which makes it impossible to complete all the Class 20 Journeys, in this case?

Game really needs a SPAD over-ride function to get past these bugs and glitches.

 

I’ve just tried this on ps5 and found no issue. This is post update update.

 

The 31/03/2022 fixed this on XSX, too. After OldVern said in an another thread that the scenario is still broken for him, I even completed it a bunch of times just to make sure it wasn't a fluke.

Doesn't work for me on PC either Vern. Same problem - GPL 173 never clears.

I passed the said signal 173 four times and could not find any problems in the "Chopper and Change" scenario (PC here).

 

It's an odd one for sure.

 

Hate to be the bearer of good news, OldVern, but I've run this scenario both before and after the update and it runs without a problem on PC.
Only thinking parts are cutting the rake in the right places, clearing any switches and hitting the stop markers. ( Not in journey mode )

PS That track! What happened? Ouch!

 

Postscript...
Finally got the scenario to work.
First attempt pushing the wagons through the shops to detach failed.
Loaded a save and stopped in front of the shops, then detached the wagons before the on screen prompt to do so. GPL then came off and I was able to complete it.
