The Sequel game gets a sequel thread! Cities Skylines II (or Cities Skylines 2, CS2, whatever you like) will release on October 24th! A little skeptical is my first thoughts on it from the gameplay they showed off, seemed a little too cartoony in several places. The buildings also seemed really/overly scaled up in terms of width size compared to the original, and they all reminded me of the not so posh New York City style rather than having much difference between them. I did like the coal power plant they showed off that seemed quite a cool asset, the university looked a bit like a mental hospital from the 20’s or 30’s though I’ll hold out that maybes it just didn’t show it off too greatly to me at this and look forward to finding out more on it, I’m sure like the original things will get better and more varied with more available content. Base game always is on a different look to dlcs from my perspectives.
