In real the class 09 has a different gearbox, which it allowes to have a speed of 25mph.

So the class 08 in tsw is deeply detailed and let you choose the switch of braketype, Turn off and on the exhauster. Also serval functioning valves and fuel pump.
Compared to this, the cl09 seems to lack all that features. Feels like a rushed out loco model.

Am i missing something? I suggest devs should give it another work and update. Since all this is already in the cl08 i cant immagine it to be as difficult.

Heavy Freight was released on 6th June, 2019 while WSR was released on 24th May, 2018. That's why.

Yeah, it's simply because it's older. You'll also probably notice the 166 and Talent 2 from Rapid Transit don't have destination boards for the exact same reason. Similarly, the Tees Valley 101 is an updated version of the one in NTP.

Thanks for the answers. I read about a preservation update for wsr in the roadmap.
I hope they update the rolling stock too. Cl.47 for example hasnt a working vacuum release valve.

Just think those thing can brought to a new version with almost no effort.
