Hi. I'm just getting back into train sim classic. I'm trying to drive the class 142 on the scenario's and can't get it to move. The engine is already started, the reverser won't move. Does anyone know what I'm missing? Thanks
Hi. This has happened to me on so many drives! If its the DTG one you are driving it could be the DRA is on. If so it should be shining brightly red and you have to click it off. (I don't know if there's a keyboard key for it.). If its the Armstrong Powerhouse one its probably the master key. I think its the "E" key to turn that. Good luck with getting going. Rich Cooke
Hi. Thanks for the response. Its the DTG 142 pacer. I'm just firing train sim classic up so will try that.
I just gave this pile of poo a run. When you get in the cab you need to switch the Master Switch to On with your mouse Then you can move the reverser to Fwd with the w/s or the mouse. The lights don't work correctly - as somebody else spotted If you go for Headlights/Markers or Tail Lights its the same at both ends. The Compressor Speed Up Switch is On - you would not be able to release the brakes on a 14x/15x with it on. And the Brakes in Step one are too fierce with too high a pressure.
Ok. I have train sim classic on a gaming laptop with the touch pad. Do you know how to move to turn the master switch on?
All sorted. Appreciate all the help. Figured out how to move the camera in the cab. Clicked on master switch and reverser now moved. Very happy now
From memory you look down to the left side of your cab and there is a key you turn using the mouse, which leys you move the reverser to 'FWD' position. Now you should be ok to move.
