Considering we already have a vast majority of the sprinter family in the game, those being; - 150/2 - 158 - 153 I think DTG should go ahead and make a 156 to add to that list. I would just love to see a 156 in the game on a route that works for layers and more gameplay variety. I just love a grimey 156 with clag and that thrash! ideally, my preferred 156 I would like to see is a Northern Rail 156 in the old purple and blue livery, if licensing allows that. If not, the new white and blue livery can still work and could potentially add the 156 to a new route, considering I assume they still have the Northern license. a route that the 156 can work on 100% is a route that I’ve suggested a few times in the past, which is Preston to Colne modern day. All stock on the route is Northern rail. (Based in Lancashire) the route primarily sees class 150/1, 150/2, class 156 & 195’s. The route also sees Class 66s quite often coming to and from hellifield, carrying aggregates, oil, cement tankers. Around 4-6 times a week, you’ll see a class 70 from Carlisle come past Blackburn pulling wood and logs to wales. Railtours also pass through including both steam and diesel, often being, class 47, 37, Blue Pullman. I hope one day I get my claggy 156 in the game
This would be a treat with the West Highland Line, good to see the class 156 is so heavily requested tho...
Yeah I’ve seen it requested a fair bit, would work for so many routes. Could see it on the Scottish routes, WCML north, MML etc. I love a 156 as you can probably tell it’s a good thing my job involves working on these sprinters, I love it ahahaha.
Much as I would like to see a 156 in the game, please not a Scottish scenic route. Nothing would ruin it more than being forced to view through a narrow letterbox Sprinter cab window. Birmingham to Peterborough or Peterborough to Norwich where the scenery doesn’t matter quite so much!
