Hi all. I'm currently training to be a driver. I'm considering downloading the sim classics game onto my PC. I'm unsure whether my graphics card is enough. I have an Intel 630 graphics. For now at least, I only want to have a play around in the cab of a class 168. I need to practice the start up and brake test, and to get the routine fully inbedded into my head ready for our company simulator in a few weeks time. I'm not too concerned with actually driving it atm... Will my graphics card be OK? Does anyone have a link or you tube to someone else who has actually filmed themselves doing the startup and brake test in a class 168? Thanks
You "computer" will not be up to playing TSC. What happens in the Cab in real life is not the same as the game. You won't be able to walk around the train which you do on a Prep You won't be able to move any circuit breakers in the cab. The ONLY things you can move in the Sim are Direction and Power Controllers and Light Switches. Why not ask the people you will work with - that can give you more info than a You Tube video
Thanks. Yes, I'm doing all that. I've been in the works actual SIMulator before, and so I just wanted to look again in the cab but have some element of control myself whilst looking. I understand you are restricted with what you can do in there. I just thought it would be a nice refresher for me. Anyway, can you recommend the correct graphics card as I'll probably want to buy a new computer soon... Cheers for any info.
