I'm trying to do the two late night ECS workings from Waverley to Haymarket on Fife Circle. I can couple up to the other unit at the start but I can't find any way to get the train moving towards Haymarket. The timetabled services are 5K84 & 5K86. Wondering if there's something I extra I need to do. Whatever I try the units won't move when coupled. Can anyone help? I tried looking on forum using search option but had no joy.
Apologies for bumping this post but I tried again and still stuck trying to get the train to move after I've coupled up the units.
HA! A minute after posting this, I solved it. I forgot that once you coupled up, before you press the couple button, you have to put the reverser into neutral! Posting this in case I forget in the future!
And now I discover you can't even complete 5K86 as it wants to take your train inside a shed at Haymarket and an invisible wall prevents you getting near it.... sigh...
