The Class 170 is a DMU train that runs across the southern network. The 170 consists of 2 cars (or coaches) I thought as an idea that this could run on the BML and ECW it would add the to the southern variety in the game. (Couldn't put a picture of a 170/171 because of an error).
I not from down that way so what I am about to say might be wrong. I don't believe that the turbostars would run on BML or the section of ECW that is in game. To have the turbostars down south would require a route in the Ashford area. However I think that the turbostars should be represented on a line in the midlands as there are already many routes in the southeast and nowt in the midlands.
Southern operate the 171 rather than the 170. The 170 and 171 are basically the same except for the coupler type 171s run the Ashford to Eastbourne services (previously to Hastings or Brighton but these were phased back as the electrostars populated the line), and services to Uckfield. So on the BML as it stands the 171s would join at Norwood junction just north of East Croydon, run for two stations then bear left off towards Uckfield...
I thought southern did run the 170s lol. Got a bit mistaken as I've never seen or done much research on southern so I wasn't aware.
See response above. They run 171s, exactly the same train bar the coupler (so it can hook up to the rest of the southern fleet)
here is a picture. I would like to see this in the game as well. It could also be used for Scotrail liveries and many others because they also operate with this train
