This might be an old one which has already been answered. Playing the TVL scenario where you have to take a pair of 31's to a failed train at Lackenby, remove the dud 37, shunt it out the way then return to work the freight. The run out to the failure was uneventful but after coupling to the 37 and detaching it from the wagons is when the fun started. Shut down the cab of what is now the trailing end of the 31's per the scenario instruction and moved to the other end. Cab set up and brakes released but the only way I could get moving was to gun the throttle and frantically apply sand. All handbrakes released including on the failed loco. After skidding out to the next location I detached the 31's but on going to move off and shunt back to the freight, same problem - cannot budge without inducing severe wheelslip. Now I'm not ruling out some sort of dopey user error on my part but just wondered if anyone else has come across this and what the solution might be. Thanks.
Could be a brake handle somewhere in the consist not in the cab shut down position. Or an AWS changeover switch in the wrong position. Recall a similar issue but can't remember how I got going.
