I would love to see a route set around Essex in the early 00's with the Class 312 EMU.
I grew up going to London or Clacton on daytrips using this and feel like these slam door EMU's get glossed over in the grand scheme of simulators.

Even if it was only a small route with the rural branch lines around colchester, such as the Clacton and Frinton lines, Marks Tey to Sudbury and Manningtree to Harwich.

    Please DTG, make it so!

This is a great suggestion, essentially the 312 was an updated version of the legendary Class 310's (AM10's). I believe they also ran on the LT&S lines out of Fenchurch Street for a while and a number were deployed around the West Midlands.

Biggest challenge as with most vintage EMU stock is going to be getting the physics and sounds right, with no preserved examples (few heritage railways want the responsibility that comes with 25kv AC overheads!). Closest I've heard in a sim to a 310/312 is the German 420 in TSC.
