The Class 313 (purchased on Steam prior to the core update) now does not run since the update. It will load up. All instructions are followed but it will not move. Does DTG intend to release an update/patch that will fix this?
Yes, they are currently working on the patch. While I have not encountered any oddity with DTG's own content, and the sim being super stable for me, I'm sure they are testing all available content on Steam right now, that's why it may take some time. The 313 was made by Armstrong Powerhouse - be sure there'll be a fix from either DTG or AP.
If you'd have purchased the 313 directly from AP then you'd be able to redownload the now fixed version (which was fixed within a day or two of the core update btw), unfortunately due to any Steam bought dlc it has to go through a laborious time consuming process of DTG commiting it to Steam so Steam can then release the update. Why DTG always take so long to release third party fixes is beyond me, you'd have to ask them for their usual weak bog standard excuse.
What's interesting here is that they could pinpoint the issue very quickly - we can only speculate if the fix will be obsolete once the big DTG patch is done - or if there's new content creator guidelines that 3rd parties must adapt to for being future-proof. At the moment only DTG and the 3rd parties which are published by DTG are aware and working on solutions. Until that is done they won't push Steam updates.
Fair point Torf, but I thinkit was down to the lua scripting issue that was figured out quite early on iirc
I am not aware what exactly is the "lua issue". Compiled version (5.1/5.2/5.3)? Obfuscated lua? ControlValues as in Smokebox's case? Variable declarations? For content creators, it is vital to know!

Yeah, but they'll never reveal what they actually changed in their script . These scripts are more precious than the actual models.
Unfortunately, AP DTG has not provided a patch for the Steam version, the 313 still won't apply power. I've just refunded it and will get it from AP directly (which I should have done from the start, as most Steam versions of AP or vR products are limited in functionality...)

Just to say... the AP 313 is fine here. I don't have the Steam version of the 313 so can't help you there. The AP class 142 is broken for me, and as it's no longer an available product from AP I can't see them fixing it either. The 143 works fine for me.
As I've written above, AP sent the fix to DTG for the Steam version, but DTG are yet to upload it to Steam. Can't say anything about the 142 (I consider it a piece of junk), I've only got the one supplied with Huddersfield, that is working (except for the taillights issue.) Maybe AP will consider a rerelease?
So far as I know, they are developing something. They mentioned it on their Facebook page when they finally withdrew it.

Huddersfield DLC package comes with 4 apps: - the route itself (Assets\DTG\LeedsManchester) - the Class 142 pack (Assets\DTG\Class142Pack01) - the DTG/AP Class 158 pack (Assets\DTG\APClass158Pack01) - the Class 47/8 pack (Assets\DTG\Class47Pack04) SteamDB.info package overview:
ok, i misunderstood. i thought your Huddersfield 142/143 would be in DTG/LeedsManchester folder, i got confused. you only have the. 1 pacer ? torfmeister
As I've written above, the 142 is not in the Huddersfield folder but is a separate pack. And I do not like it (not the DLC, the Pacer itself which in fact was a bus turned into a railcar. ), but that's just my humble opinion.
Back on topic. Is the (Steam Store) Class 313 working now? (I've replaced it with the superior AP Store version so can't confirm...)
