(EDIT - It seems to be fine on timetabled services, still refuses to move in free roam.) Hi all I seem to be having problems with the 33, no matter what I try the vacuum brakes will not release & they are set to vacuum as I'm trying to pull some mk1 carriages on WSR. It seemed to work fine a couple of weeks ago, so I don't think it's user error & I've removed all mods but it still refuses to move. Only thing that's happened recently was a game update, so I'm wondering if the latest update has messed it up. Is anyone else having the same issues, if not then what am I doing wrong? TIA
Maybe not quite the same but I’ve had several instances now where I’ve spawned into a diesel loco hauled timetable run or scenario and the loco has flatly refused to take power. First time it happened was a couple of evenings ago on NTP with a Class 45 at Man. Vic. Dropped in, engine running. Key in, reverser to forward, AWS on. Departure time close doors and release brakes, open throttle and nothing happened. Cycle reverser back through off to forward still no joy. Knock out AWS no joy. Go to menu and hit physics reset, set the cab up again still no traction power. Exit run and game, reboot PC and restart TSW - this time works without an issue. Then exactly the same thing happened yesterday evening with a Class 40 hauled Railtour on Manchester to Glossop. So it looks like something has gone amiss in the core code which is causing these random issues with UK diesel motive power in particular.
I drove a Class 33 railtour service with the vacuum braked crimson coaches on SEHS last night and it was working fine so not sure what could be up on WSR.
Did you also enable DSD? I had some issues with some old locos not too long ago that wouldn't move unless AWS (unisolated and cab change ends) and DSD were unisolated.
