PS5 Class 350 (wcml) Brakes

There was a game update posted the other day stating:

“ Fixed an issue causing the brakes not to release correctly when swapping cabs.”

I went to try this out today, and Lo and behold, the brakes are stuck on with BC 3.0 bar when switching ends, and I cannot find a way of releasing them. This is the same issue with hitting the emergency brake plunger; the brakes never release - not even with a physics eeset.

Can someone explain why this may be happening, thanks

 

A patch may have broken it, an update may have compounded the issue, it was corrected, but another patch/update broke it again. I have not had a chance to check Series X yet. The suggestion is to file a support ticket.

 

I have tested this on Xbox Series X and can confirm it is fixed and working now. I’m unable to test on PS5 though. Worth double checking that you did get the update, not sure how it works on PS but I know I had occasions my Xbox didn’t automatically update a game it was supposed to and I had to go and trigger the update manually. Fingers crossed

 

Let's hope it stays fixed this time.

 

This is not fixed on the PS5. In fact all I got from the update yesterday was the Tharandter rampe patch.

 

I just don't understand how an update / prepatch and a patch can get this messed up?

This update seems to be available on PS5, have already checked and tried to update manually as well but there was nothing for WCML.
Still not possible to complete Carriage Collector.
Now played three times for nuts, not able to get trophy as well.
