Can anyone help me, I created a formation of a top and tail 37’s with coaches but when I spawn it into free roam. I can’t get the set to move, the loco is taking power, the brakes are released but something is stopping it from moving…
It could be that the coaches you are using are vacuum braked, if they are then you would need to set the Brake Selector Switch to Vacuum Brake - Passenger. The switch is on the back wall of the rear cab, near the 4 red lights Also, the brakes on the class 37 release quite slowly, it could take around 15 to 25 seconds for the brakes to fully release
Are the coaches air braked and you're trying to use vacuum might mean you need to pull the strings on the coaches, or are the loco brakes on on the back 37?
The rear loco needs its brakes disabled, unlike the US locos "EMD SD70ACE" For example, In TSW__ Banking comms are used, but I don't know exactly how and if the Class 37 can be set up in this similar fashion. You can double-head them, But a push-pull?
Master key out in both cabs and train brake valve in shut down, loco brake set to release, handbrakes off, vacuum chambers emptied (if using air), AWS valves all set to off/isolated. That's should have the loco set up to be dead in tow with brakes still working (from memory)
And that is in a push-pull config, NOT double-headed, Honestly, I have not dabbled in free-roam and testing consist setups, nor doing formation designer, I may just mess around with it Hmmm.
