Ok so it appears to close the gangway door from the Class 377, we have to reset simulation physics That game never ceases to amaze me. Will it be patched one day ? I’m not sure. And regarding the Class 387, we still can’t put any layers on the gangway door, on the livery editor.
Liam submitted a bugfix for this last night. So if it passes QA/Testing, hopefully be in a patch soon.
It took them how many years to finally fix a minor bug? Unbelievable At least it will finally be fixed
It shouldn't take an employee in his spare time to fix a 2 and a half year old bug. But I guess better late than never. At least it has been fixed.
I got nothing to do with british content but my god, how many times I've heard "its fixed, just needs to go through testing" regarding many bugs on German content is astonishing.
No of course it shouldn't take an employee doing it in their free time. I was just pointing out we should be thankful to Liam for going above and beyond.
Liam posted the following on the Discord: Got some updates on the legacy issues pointed out to me last night regarding the 377/387. Fixes for the issues below will go through the usual process which decides if they are fit for release. Hopefully they pass and we can get them out to you in the future ECW 377: PIS colour should match BML 377 Floating headlights in ToD 4 fog BML 377 Gangways being open on service starts Gangways closed in-between 2 consists PIS not showing in ToD 4 routes Floating headlights in ToD 4 fog Cab light leak from passenger area Exterior material lights emission too low BML 387 PIS not showing in ToD 4 routes Floating headlights in ToD 4 fog
And when we get another game update patch, or when TSW5 launches it will be broken all over again... They take 2 years to fix a bug, and another 2 weeks to break it again. Yeah, I feel your pain. Infinite traction lock on Dostos is the worst.
Wow that is amazing! Hats off to Liam (someone I had, unfortunately, never heard of until now)! The only issue I have that remains is that 387 taillights do not automatically turn off when two units are coupled. Not sure if it is prototypical, but it is inconvenient having to start a service and run to each intermediate cab and turn off the taillights.
No, it is not prototypical on any UK trains. It's also a bug on the BR403 & BR406 ICE, and most other German EMU / DMUs.
I've never been inside the cab of a class 801, but if there is an "auto" option on the headlight / tail light selector in the cab, then it should automatically change when coupled to another unit.
You do that? All you gotta do is spawn in on foot before the service starts, open the gangway doors yourself, wait for the service to start then close them.
I for reasons I’m not sure of, but thought was a good idea at the time, I didn’t transfer my profile over to tsw4 so going through all the journey modes again
This is not a bug which ever particularly bothered me, but after reading through the thread I do just want to say a thanks to Liam for doing this in spare time. He is rightfully a very popular person within this community at the minute. Good on him!
This is what I want DTG to do as it ruins the whole experience of the class 377 on the BML. Rivet managed to sort it out with the 385, so I hope it wouldn't impact the 377. I hope it gets sorted ASP
I'm so glad Liam has sorted it out. Looking forward to seeing it being mentioned in the April Roadmap as issue Fixed
