Unless this is intended behaviour, in which case I don't understand why, the HUD warning icon (the yellow circle with an exclamation mark, right below the gradient indication) displays the exact opposite of the AWS Sunflower. When I switch on AWS (which I do via the in-cab AWS Isolation switch, in case that makes any difference), and press Q to acknowledge the alarm, the HUD icon is off (grey circle) and the AWS sunflower is on. Whenever I get a *ping* sound when passing an AWS magnet indicating a green signal, the sunflower turns black, and the HUD icon shows the big yellow warning icon. When I get a *beep* sound and press Q, because I pass over an AWS magnet indicating a caution or danger signal or speed limit, the big yellow warning icon dissapears (grey circle) and the AWS sunflower illuminates again.
I think AWS has become broken in ECW for TSW 2. It used to work perfectly in TSW 2020 but sounds random alarms and acts strangely now.
I notice nothing strange on AWS in ECW in TSW2. It functions exactly like I'm used to and as I expected it to do. I've played my fair share of UK routes in Train Simulator and the AWS in ECW works exactly the same as it did in TS. It's just the warning icon on the HUD that seems odd. So whatever problems AWS on ECW has, might be on specific platforms/systems?
I've not experienced any random AWS alarms either, but I've only played ECW a few times in TSW2. It seems to be act the same as it did it TSW2020 for me.
