    New class 385 Scotrail
    Routes
    Edinburgh to Glasgow via Falkirk high or Cumbernauld
    Edinburgh to Dunblane
    Glasgow to Alloa or Dunblane.

    You do know that Edinburgh to Glasgow via Cumbernauld is yet to be fully electrified.

    That's not the point. You are suggesting the Class 385 on a route that isn't electrified.

    Class 385 Scotrail. From Edinburgh to Glasgow via Falkirk and Cumbernauld. Both routes. From Edinburgh or Glasgow to Alloa and Dunblane. Reduce time speed. From December 2019 Class 385 Scotrail has 8 carriages from Edinburgh to Glasgow via Falkirk High. From Edinburgh or Glasgow to Alloa and Dunblane, the train has 3, 4 or 6 carriages. From Edinburgh to Glasgow via Cumbernauld, the train has 3, 4 or 6 carriages.
