Hi all, Stock used: - EMT HST Class 43 - Shap Class 87 - Shap Mk3 - Shap Mk1 NHA All above in custom livery from either the market or my own free time So, I've put alot of time into making some liveries up of the old RTC Red and Bkue including making a fictional trio of Powercars to go with Mk3s and other various stock (2 at a time in rotation) Now all of this works fine. I can have an 87 in the middle with NHAs and MK3s all over, and with 1 powercar on the head end this works fine and I achieve a full brake release through to the rear. Enter the 2nd powercar... now as soon as the 2 Powercars are registered on the same consist the brakes lock up. Even with just Mk3s between them it locks up at 3.5 Bar. I have tried: - reseting physics (did nothing) - dumping the air and recharging (nope) - dumping the air and changing ends (nope) - placing the handle into Off and Release and then changing ends (still no) - releasing and locking the doors (didnt even move the needle) - removing parts of my consist (only when 1 of the powercars were decoupled did I ever get a release) It's already annoying enough to not be able to add them to a formation on the designer and having to manually couple them up. But then this takes the cake by not even letting me drive them. I had to sub in a pair of 47s for my last run. Anyone know any fixes?
The HST coaches have special multiple unit cables that allow the power cars to communicate with each other, so if you use any other kind of coach in between them, the lead power car can't tell the trailing one to release the brakes As a workaround, in the trailing power car, have the master key on, reverser put in anything except Engine Off, and the brakes in release
Ah ok, I did have a thought about MU cables but when it still wouldnt work with Mk3s that made me overlook that. Thank you very much have yourself a good one
