when I save a timetable with a class 44 when I reload the saved choice the engine revs but no amps are showing so the train slowly stops.. can't get it to make amps.

    see fix later in debate......

Saving and reloading causes all sorts of problems. Most likely this is acting as if back at the beginning of the scenario or after an emergency stop so you COULD try the base startup procedure
Either way this is a bug so report it (but they probably already know this one)

Not only that, they think they’ve fixed it. We all know it’s still broken.

If you still have the save, it would really help if you could submit it to DTG in a ticket. That goes for anyone with a broken saved game.

Quick stand up and sit down should fix this one, the DSD pedal isn't being depressed as intended on reloading a save.

Well they were class 44 sulzers when I worked on them at Saltley 21A.. The 45 as I thought were the Brush ones.. The difference being in the power handle, the one on TSW is the Sulzer type, the 45's had one the same as the Brush 47's. See my profile picture of me driving a 44 with the Sulzer power handle.
But then it's been a long time since 1960 :)

44, 45, 46 and 47 all use Sulzer engines. Class 44 and 45 had Crompton Parkinson traction motors. Class 46 and 47 had Brush traction motors. 44, 45 and 46 all had similar cabs. Class 44s were 2,300 hp, 45 and 46 were 2,500 hp and 47 was 2,580 hp (derated from 2,750 hp).

Ah I see, but I do remember the "Brush Type handles as here on a class 46.. D182.

power down to 1 wait for amps to drop then shut off,, or weld the panel up!
    thanks for the good debate...

Ah okay. Couldn't find a Class 46 cab picture, so I guess it's the 46 and 47 that have the similar handles due to the Brush TMs.

I never like the Brush Handles the others I thought were much more "aesthetically pleasing" but then I was only 19 and didn't do much thinking... :)
