    Hello,

I'm new here and to the game. I went through the tutorials but I for the life of me cannot figure out what is going on. I am trying the Class 450 scenarios and on the first one (The Lymington Branch) I reach just before the 60 speed mark. There is a blue sign with an X and something in the middle of the tracks. As soon as I pass over that, I get a beep. Like an AWS warning that you press Q to disable. Which it makes the sound go away. But then suddenly the entire train stops. Every single time. I have tried the CTRL + ENTER which I've seen some other posts suggest. But that doesn't do anything when I start up and am waiting at the station. I tried pressing the foot pedal, it didn't disable the alarm. The Q will. But the train ALWAYS comes to a full stop.

I do apologize for being so new and if I'm missing something here. This is my last resort to come to the forums because I really would like to spend time and get into this but I can't seem to figure this out. I've spent time in the academy on the same train doing all the tutorials.

    TIA.

The train has a Vigilance Device to make sure the driver is awake
If you do not move the power/brake handle for 60 seconds a warning sounds in the cab.
You have 3 or 4 seconds to react by hitting the Numberpad Enter on your keyboard.or the brakes apply.

On the Lymington Branch a number of AWS magnets are provided but if it does not apply because you are going the other way the X on the Blue Background means Ignore it

Thanks, I'll give it another go. I know it's not the 60 second warning because I am moving the throttle within 60 seconds. I've tested that theory out. It's one of those square blocks in the middle of the tracks. Let me see if I can try that again or record my issue to post. I was pressing Q on my keyboard as soon as I crossed it but then it would still shut down. To be more exact, here is what it looks like from someone elses youtube video.

    Thanks!

Those Square Blocks are Called AWS Magnets when you pass over them a Horn will sound which you cancel with the Q
You don't cancel as you pass over but you wait for the Sound then press Q
