In today's patch notes for Southeastern High Speed, it is stated that on the class 465/9 : "Reduced the attenuation falloff for the cab fans as they were audible in other trains some distance away". However, they seem to still be very loud when passing a 465 in another train, especially the class 375. Most other passing trains are almost silent.
