Class 465 Hold Brakes Button

Hi! The class 465 is an amazing train, with excellent sounds and modelling. I've tried using the hold brake button which sits on the side of the throttle lever. From what I've seen, it doesn't appear to work. This works in the 375 and 377 however.

(How I use it: go to B3, press the hold brake button without releasing it and put it into notch 1 or 2 and let go of the hold brakes button. Works perfectly with the electrostars)

Am I doing a mistake or is it a glitch? Any response would be greatly appreciated!

The brake hold button does not work for the 465 across all platforms and not just pc

 

But is it a bug? Or does the button not work in real life?

I think it may just be non functional in the game because there would be no point in having it irl
