PlayStation Class 47 Brake

I’m just doing a Manchester Victoria - Leeds service in the BR Class 47, when I press the O (circle) button the BP meter on the HUD, I assume it’s the Break Pressure needle goes down, if I tap O it’ll grind the train to a halt.

Is the O button a brake and if so, which break is it?

 

Hmm, I believe circle on PS4 is the emergency brake valve. It releases the air quickly and will certainly bring your train to a halt. Hope that helps!
