A few questions on the class 47 and some other locos, 1. How do you start the class 47 in free roam as when I put it into forward and apply power an error light crops up and I cant apply power 2. I would like to couple multiple locos together such as a 47 to a 45 and so on however the brakes don't link or apply power at the same time, in fact I can't couple to coaches without the brakes sticking on. Even in vacuum break passenger. If anyone could help me that would be great.
1. I can't help with this, but just to be sure, is the engine turned on when you apply power? 2. Probably not helpful, but whichever loco is at the back, try releasing its brakes first before the leading loco.
1. Stop the engine after spawning in freeroam and turn it on again. Turn aws on. Release the automatic brake valve until it shows 5 bar. You should be able to give power. 2. The 45 and 47 are not mu compatible. Just pay attention to the yellow main reservoir hoses. If they connect you can shut down the second loco. If they dont connect, just be sure both engines are running becsuse the compressor. Put both braking selectors to air. Use just the driving cab brake valve. Also recommend to overcharge to 5.3 bar and wait until the bp pressure goes back to 5bar (takes 2-3 minutes). In german its called "angleichen". Every drivers brake valve is slighty different. Hauling multiple locos and mu operation for bluestar equipped locos is very well implemented and works good. Technically you can haul a hst with a cl37 snd a mk1 bg coach as buckeye vehicle.
