Hi Folks, please forgive my ignorance but can someone tell me how to turn on the instrument lights in the Class 52? I cannot find them. Thanks
Next to the left leg of the driver, there should be a panel that controls all of the lights on the loco. The switch should be on there if I’m remembering right. Alternatively, should be the I key if you have an external keyboard hooked up.
Thanks. I don’t have a keyboard and the only lights I’ve found are destination light and headlight. Maybe I’ll look again.
There are several rows of switches on that panel. It is definitely there with the headlight, signal light and destination light. BTW, the DSD and brake selector are outside the cockpit in the gangway.
The panel for the lights and a few other non-working switches. Even if you don't use the keyboard all the time, it's good to have it connected to your console. And on some locos like the AC4400, only Entet+Shift turns the alerter on and off, otherwise it's default off. And getting down here, the arrow keys are used. and your safety system right next to the switch panel.
