Class 66's now have a flashing headlight when the switch is in day or night mode. It's like the lights are in hazard mode but hazard mode is off.

As your looking at the front of the loco:

Night time setting - right hand side headlight flashes

Day time setting - left hand side headlight flashes

Hazard button has no function at all now. Either on or off.

I can confirm this flashing headlights on PS5 as well. I thought it was a signal for freight trains.

Strange, I can't recreate this issue. Is there a specific way of recreating it or does it happen the moment you spawn?

I can't reproduce the problem with the headlights either. All 4 Class 66s available in timetable mode behave normally.
The problem also does not occur in Journey mode. (PC, Steam)

Edit: Even after today's patch, all Class 66s continue to behave normally.

I downloaded the update today. We were unable to replicate the flickering light issue. I assume that the update solved this problem. Thanks for your interest DTG Chris.

I can check this when I return home tomorrow.

It seems like it's only AI services for me that do this. Not player ones.

I was driving Rochester - Dartford Class 700 service. On the journey (once I was past Gravesend) I went past a Class 66 train with the headlight flashing. And once I was at Dartford waiting for the return Class 700 trip, another AI freight arrives with the headlight flashing.

This was the reason for the report. I will check the latest update tomorrow and feedback. If this is fixed, I will update my first post accordingly.

DTG-Chris just to confirm, i have checked this out but the issue still happens.

to recreate this, i spawned at Dartford Station at 05:50. There is a freight service which arrives at 05:52/05:53 for which the headlight is flashing for.

I will get a video to show you.

Is anyone still having this particular problem?

P.S. I know, thread bump, but it's okay.

It happens in Freeroam, which is - as we know - not fully functioning.

As soon as you set a path in the 66, an initialisation script is triggered which sets the headlights to hazard. Click the Hazard button twice to turn it off. (Also the RHTT spawns with the rear loco's headlights on. I usually go through the locos and set them to the correct state AFTER the path is set)

The same happens on US locos, triggering alerters. You need to flip the circuit breaker to on, cancel the alert, and flip the breaker back to off to reset the variables.

Funny, cause I was about to say the same thing. Cause the 66's headlights do do that. I can confirm that this method also works in timetable mode.

Can confirm this on PS4 as well, to stopping the flashing lights, need to press twice the hazard button next to AWS acknowledge

This solves the problem, but it doesn't change that it shouldn't be like this
    Thanks
