Does the slow speed control actually work on this loco i have on different variants of the loco but nothing
Yes You have to also make sure you toggle it on in the control panel above the window as far as I can remember, and then of course use the toggles on the left hand side of the seat to set it.
I do that and get the blue line that shows how fast you set it i put it on notch one and just picks up speed what am I missing
Hmm, not sure. I used the speed set the other day in Cargo Line 2 on the MML while loading a train, and it would kind of go slightly above and then back down to the set level and pretty much settle. Got lots on so not on TSW much currently, but next time I go on I'll have a go and list the steps in here I did to get it to work if that'd be helpful
The 66 doesn't have a dynamic brake, so on a downhill, the slow speed control can't control the train. This is an issue on the East Coastway I believe since the aggregate loading siding is on a slight slope.
OP - Was this the issue you were facing with the gradient do you know? It only works really uphill or flat.
