Hey all i have just got annoyed of how bad the class 66 sounds are and to be honest its awful i was wondering if its something dtg are going to fix the horn is not sharp enough if you know what i mean and at full power to be honest in the cab it goes quiet as a class 66 driver it sounds horrible it should be louder and the sounds should be more realistic Please make it better. For one I dont think you are a 66 driver as you have 2006 in your name. The sounds are the same from when the 66 was released for TSW GWE. If you have any better recordings which may be useful send them to DTG and they might be able to utilise them.
I would have to agree with you though the 66 sounds are quiet and the horn definetly needs to be sorted but being a class 66 driver, No you ain't. Hentis Edited by DTG Natster - no need to be antagonistic.
To be honest for the amount I drive the 66 they dont bother me. use the ecw 66 as its louder and open the cab windows. Jack

going back 'on topic' has anyone noticed how sometimes the DSD on the 66 can't be heard and then the brakes dump? Is it still to do with the issue about to many sounds playing at once. Jack.
